First-run route

Survive the first match without burning the starter bank

WARDOGS is not in Early Access yet. This is a working model from public studio statements, not a patch-1.0 walkthrough. We will not treat reward numbers or weapon prices as fact until they can be checked in the client without ripping files.

1. Know the sport

This is not a battle royale and not an extraction shooter. Up to 100 players split into three teams and fight one random Control Zone. The team with more bodies inside scores. First to 100 points wins. Details live on the mode page.

2. Starter cash is not pocket money for one round

The studio's public line: everyone starts with $10,000, the balance persists between matches, and a loadout is bought per life. Die and that life's gear is gone with the money you spent. The first new-player mistake is buying the most expensive kit to look serious.

3. First loadout: cheap and useful to the team

The public frame: cash pays for revives, ferrying allies into the zone and holding the point — not only for kills. Early on it is better to arrive, repair and hold than to dump a tank in the first minute.

4. Voice beats aim skill

Proximity chat is audible across all three teams. That is coordination, trolling and intel. Do not brief a plan on the contact line. And do not expect SBMM: the studio talks about a server browser, not a hidden rank.

5. Early Access is an unfinished product for less money

10 September 2026, $39.99, then the price is meant to rise. The studio itself posted a 'reasons not to buy yet' video. If you want a monthly content factory, this may not be your entry. If you want to pressure balance and servers, this is exactly that entry.
